OLD STONE FARMHOUSE
The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award-winning, fine dining restaurant set in a 200-year old, restored plantation field house overlooking the lush countryside of St. Thomas. They offer dinner, brunch, and event spaces.
The Challenge
The website for Old Stone Farmhouse is built in Wix and they needed someone to successfully navigate the Wix platform, to provide updates to their website, add additional pages, and manage their weekly email marketing.

The Solution
With their existing site well-built, we were able to update the information needed and add in the additional events page quite quickly. The majority of the updates were in the back-end. We ensured that their site was updated to be GDPR compliant by including Cookie Consent and a privacy policy. We also adjusted the social media icons on the site to accurately reflect the accounts they had and linked them accordingly. We reformatted all menus as PDFs to be easily displayed directly on their web pages.
We implemented weekly email marketing to promote bookings and increase traffic. During the pandemic, we used this email list to successfully share knowledge about safety precautions, in-house seating restrictions, mandates, and to-go order capability. We also implemented lightboxes to prominently display this same information the moment a visitor entered their site.
