What platform do you use to build websites?
I specialize in WordPress because of its versatility and scalability. From small businesses to large enterprises, WordPress can grow with your needs. I also work in WIX and rely on Shopify for ecommerce solutions. I also have some experience using booking software such as, Reservation Key, OwnerRez, Rezfusion, and Travify. How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines vary by package. A typical timeline for a new site build is anywhere from 4-8 weeks but it also depends on how soon you can provide the content before we begin. (This includes copy/text, images, integrations with third-party platforms, etc.) Delays in submitting the content will affect the timeline for completion.
What will I need to provide?
Each project is different but in general, you will need to provide:
- Your logo files
- Your website copy
- Images for the website
- Access to any third-party accounts you want to be integrated with your site (email marketing, social media, payment processors like PayPal or Stripe, etc.)
- You’ll also need a credit card to keep on file for accounts like hosting and domain registration to avoid service interruption.
Will I be able to edit my site?
Yes! I provide tutorials and resources to empower you to make updates. Maintenance packages are also available if you prefer ongoing support.

How does payment work?
Payment is divided into four installments for most packages, with a 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. Details are outlined in your proposal.
Will there be additional expenses?
Your packages cover the one-off cost for the design and development your new website. Typically, you can expect additional annual costs, such as:
- Hosting – Small businesses can expect $150-300/year depending on several factors: higher for larger more complex sites with higher traffic.
- Domain registration – $20-25/year
- Website policies (privacy, cookie consent, terms of service, etc.) – $120/year
- Premium plugins to integrate specific functionality – many are free but if a premium plan is warranted the price can range from $60-500 or more per year depending on what you need.
All costs will be discussed and approved before implementation. I will never spend your money without your prior written approval.

Why should I choose a monthly maintenance plan instead of handling it myself?
While it’s possible to manage website updates yourself, it can be time-consuming and risky if you’re unfamiliar with WordPress or technical troubleshooting. My care plans are designed to save you time, minimize stress, and protect your investment.

Do you offer maintenance for websites not built by you?
Yes, I do! Whether your site was built by me or another designer, I can provide the ongoing maintenance and support it needs to perform at its best. We’ll start with a website audit to ensure everything is in working order, then move forward with the care plan that fits your needs.
When are payments due for monthly maintenance?
Payments for your care plan are billed monthly, covering services for the upcoming month. You’ll receive your invoice 15 days before the due date.
For your convenience, I accept payments via credit card, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or check, making it easy to stay on top of your website’s care.
What happens if my website crashes?
Website crashes can happen, but don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! With daily backups through my website management tools, weekly backups directly from WordPress, and uptime monitoring, I’ll be alerted immediately if your site goes down.
In most cases, I can restore your site quickly with minimal downtime, ensuring your business stays online and your customers stay connected.
